CHATS-AS Workshops
| CHATS-AS is an ongoing series of Workshops devoted to advancing the understanding of superconducting magnet design and analysis. The series was initiated in May 1993 as a small meeting at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (Tallahassee, FL, USA) dedicated to quench in CICC's. This was followed-up by a satellite meeting satellite meeting in September 1993 co-organized by NHMFL and Bechtel (Victoria, BC, Canada). CHATS-AS has run regularly since, with a two to three years periodicity. | |
| The next Workshop, CHATS-AS 2026 is planned to take place on March 9-12, 2026, in Saariselka, Finnland, hosted by Tampere University. | |
